Not the best cake we’ve seen on this blog, but this is still pretty great, especially if the black is locorice as that would be sooooo tasty :)

Hey hey Batfans!
I hope you enjoy the above pics, as I wanted to cover a little blog business quickly, so please stick with me:
1) Firstly, it’s Tumblr Tuesday again so it’s once again time to submit this blog (you know, if you like it) to the Tumblr Directory. In exchange I have provided images of me dressed as the Caped Crusader from a recent party. What do you think?

Moving on: the second thing I wanted to mention is you guys are amazing. I started this blog as a joke at the beginning of April… and there are now 1500 or so of you following along. 0_o
I’m consistently flabbergasted that you all seem to enjoy Find Enclosed One Batmans - it’s gotten so that all your Likes, Reblogs and Follows are too much too keep up with, not that I’m complaining! I know I’ve been a bit behind in responding to Submitted Posts and Messages lately but please keep them coming and I promise I’ll get to them. :)
Oh, also: if you’re looking for a way to look at all the posts we’ve had so far, the recently redesigned Archive is a great way to see them all. Check it out.

I love Watchman, but hated the movie - that aside, all the little nods in the background of this shot from the opening credits (and the opening credits themselves, actually) are fantastic. Check it:
- Thomas and Martha Wayne, perhaps?
- Gotham Opera House sign
- A poster for Mefistofele (1868), an opera by Italian composer Arrigo Boito.
- Batman posters

I could say a lot of things about this movie. But I loved that opening sequence, and I want those Batman posters. And check out Martha and Thomas Wayne in the back.
My mother liked Pigs.
This was something I was told from an early age. Everybody knew it. She just really liked pig toys, pig figurines, pig anything. So much so that people constantly gave her pig related crap until bookshelves, table tops and any free space was covered in countless, sometimes cute, but far more often gaudy and tasteless, pigs.
Years later my mother revealed to me, whilst weeping in the corner, surrounded by thousands of smashed swine, that she never really like pigs.
Why am I telling you this fascinating and possibly made up story? Because I like Batman, and I've noticed the more people who know this the more random, Batman related crap people send me.
The name of this blog came from the Subject line of an email someone once sent me. This is my endless bookshelf. You can send me random Batman crap you find by emailing me or submitting it to this blog directly. Hell, send me a link via Twitter. or email and ask for my address if you want to send me something physically.
