The reason we really need your votes this week is that last week I made a mistake - the links to the Tumblr Directory were accidentally linking to my regular blog so that last week’s votes were split between the two blogs. Since then I’ve lost my current job and then been violently ill, so I only just noticed - a week of failures! :)
So yeah, I did hear that the release date for the next Christopher Nolan Batman film had been announced: July 20, 2012. My only issue with this is I wish that read 2010 or at least 2011 instead, still Bat-beggars can’t be choosers.
So yeah, thanks to everyone who sent me the above picture via this blog, email and Twitter and remember to vote for us - we could really use the votes after last weeks mistake.

My mother liked Pigs.
This was something I was told from an early age. Everybody knew it. She just really liked pig toys, pig figurines, pig anything. So much so that people constantly gave her pig related crap until bookshelves, table tops and any free space was covered in countless, sometimes cute, but far more often gaudy and tasteless, pigs.
Years later my mother revealed to me, whilst weeping in the corner, surrounded by thousands of smashed swine, that she never really like pigs.
Why am I telling you this fascinating and possibly made up story? Because I like Batman, and I've noticed the more people who know this the more random, Batman related crap people send me.
The name of this blog came from the Subject line of an email someone once sent me. This is my endless bookshelf.
